Our engagements

CASTERA offers you the benefits of Castéra-Verduzan thermal spring water in a range of pure and natural dermo-cosmetic products to preserve the health of baby's skin.

Environment

Our factory is located in Castéra-Verduzan (Gers), in the immediate vicinity of the thermal spring. Conditioned directly at the source, sheltered from the air and any pollution, our thermal water thus retains all its natural richness and all its purity. Our production unit has integrated perfectly into the village and has in order to limit energy losses.

To recycle

We favor recycled or recyclable packaging for our products and limit unnecessary packaging in order to preserve forests. We are also making a financial contribution through which actions are taken to promote the management of household packaging waste.

Local consumption

All products are made in the Gers. At all stages of the product's life, we seek the collaboration of an entire local industry, guarantor of a unique know-how, heritage of our region.

Quality

The ODOST Laboratory is keen to offer quality natural products. It therefore designs its products according to quality standards and international pharmaceutical standards.

ODOST is certified :

ISO 13485/2003, standard dedicated to quality management systems for medical devices,
ISO 22716/2007, standard dedicated to good cosmetic manufacturing practices.

We have set up a traceability system, allowing the product to be tracked from supplier to customer.

Thermal medicine

ODOST wishes to contribute to the promotion of thermal medicine.

The laboratory has selected Castéra-Verduzan Thermal Spring Water as an active ingredient to offer as many people as possible innovative and effective products suitable for daily use. ODOST Laboratory products offer perfect tolerance, even in the most sensitive subjects.

Efficiency

Indeed, the properties of thermal waters have been recognized for more than 2000 years on many pathologies. More than 1,200 water sources whose virtues are recognized by the Academy of Medicine are listed in France, according to the CNETh.

Purity and quality of life

Cures are generally prescribed as an alternative to medication. This is natural care, focused on the attention paid to patients, but also on prevention in a process of improving the well-being and health of spa guests.

Source of savings

Since 1947, thermal cures can be paid for by Social Security, but only represent 0.15% of the Health Insurance budget. This therapeutic route is therefore less expensive in terms of health expenditure.

Innovation

The ODOST Laboratory is a family business whose vocation is the creation and manufacture of cosmetic and parapharmaceutical products.

From design to completion, ODOST has full control over research, development, creation of formulas, purchases of raw materials and packaging.
